Lemurian Blue Calcite is mined in Argentina. The stones have other names, including Blue Argentinian Calcite, Aquatine Calcite (or Aqua Calcite), Argentinian Blue Onyx, Lemurian Onyx, Blue Lemurian Calcite, Ocean Calcite, and possibly even more. Although Blue Calcite can be found in many parts of the world, the stones found in Argentina are generally considered to be the Lemurian Aquatine Calcite variety.
